Kateryna Biloruska Foundation: Empowering young girls to become leaders
The Kateryna Biloruska Foundation is a Cyprus-based charitable organization dedicated to empowering youth and supporting families through sport and education. Although formally incorporated in Cyprus in 2023, the foundation’s underlying initiatives and community activities have been operating in Cyprus since 2019. Guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, it aims to create a better future for young people through sports, quality education and inclusive programs.
Kateryna, the founder, is on the show today talking about how and why she started this initiative, the impact sports play on motivation and wellbeing. We also talk about the FEM (Future Empowered Minds) leadership program that was held in Cyprus over a month ago with 13-18 year old girls sharing their experiences and worries about the future.
